Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Clipmunk ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

License

Clipmunk is free, open-source software distributed under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, subject to the conditions of the MIT License. Use of the Software

You agree to use Clipmunk only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • You have the right to record and clip the content from your livestream.
  • Any clips you create and share comply with the terms of service of the streaming platform you use (Twitch, YouTube, etc.).
  • You do not use Clipmunk to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • You comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws.

Third-Party Services

Clipmunk integrates with third-party services including Google Drive, Cloudflare, and Nightbot. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Clipmunk is not responsible for the availability, reliability, or conduct of any third-party service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the Software or the use or other dealings in the Software.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will the developers of Clipmunk be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Software.

Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you clip, save, upload, and share using Clipmunk. The developers of Clipmunk have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content created using the Software.

Modifications to the Software

As open-source software, Clipmunk may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time. We are not obligated to provide updates, support, or maintenance for the Software.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
